One hundred and One Dresses

It is that time of year again. Time for the local elementary school's Miss Sunshine Pageant.  This I decided to buy a dress rather than borrow one. I would have borrowed one but I felt to embarrassed to ask again.  After looking on-line at ebay and deciding there was not enough time to order a pageant dress from China I decided I would have to spend more $ and try to find one in a local (50 mile radius) dress shop.  We went Thursday evening to Cleveland and only found one.  The price was good but it would of had to be altered - hemmed and taken in in the bodice.  I took these pictures with my cell phone.  They are not too good.  Unfortunately, when I dropped my last phone in the toilet I opted for the cheapest phone.  I never thought about picture capibilities. :(

The dress was prettier than the pictures show.
On Saturday, we went to Chatsworth to a shop we had heard about from several friends.  After trying on at least one hundred dresses all they had in her size we narrowed the list down to three.
I loved the way the silver dresses fit her and popped.

I did like the pink one but Iza said it felt too tight.

So I bought this one because the color was so pretty and the price was way better.

Sorry, I decided to wait until the pageant to show you Iza in the dress.  I have questioned myself several time thinking maybe I should have spent the extra money and bought the one of the silver dresses.  I really liked they way they fit and how the color looked on Izabel. I have even thought about going back and buying the second one pictured but I am trying to save money for something else.

I can't wait to see Izabel in the blue dress! I'm sure she will look stunning. She looked beautiful in all of the dresses. Too fun!

Love and blessings,
