Bush Gardens Europe ~ Virginia

Iza loved Abby Cadabby, but did not really want the other Sesame Street Characters to be too close to her. She loved the rides and especially riding with her Papaw. A good time was had by all at the park:)

66 years later

While in Virginia my dad visted Camp Peary near Williamsburg, 66 years after being stationed there. He was very disappointed they would not let him on the base and even more disappointed at the very small memorial there to remember the servicemen stationed there.

Beach Baby!

I always loved the beach but as I get older ( and my skin is not as attractive as it used to be) I love going but not sitting in the sun. Iza however LOVES to swim and she just loved the beach. I used 50 sunscreen but that girl still tanned.

Sea World

Iza loved Sea World. She had breakfast with Elmo and the Sesame Street gang. She was afraid at first but finally warmed up to Elmo. Iza loved riding the rides. She certainly loved riding with her Nana. Nana really spoiled her on this trip and has taught her some "bad habits". She especially loved playing in the water fountains.

Lions and Tigers and Bears.....Oh My!

On Memorial Day we went to the zoo. I was surprised at how much it had changed since the last time I went. So many improvements. Very little remained the same since I visited with my son last. Princess-in-Training was mesmerized. She loved looking at all the animals. I had such an enjoyable day:)
