Christmas 2011
Mostly just pictures...... Iza only really ask Santa for tow presents for Christmas, an iPod and a new baby that cries. I decided that I was not going to go all out buying toys that she does not play with and I am constantly trying to find something to do with. So, Christmas this year was minimal but Izabel never even noticed. Yea, me!!!
New Melissa & Doug wooden puzzles
Her new baby, "Little Mommy Walks and Giggles"
Yes, every Princess need a magic mirror to tell her how lovely she is!
A make up kit.
Iza was thrilled with her iPod. Her Pre-K class has them. She had been begging for one for a while.
A few stocking stuffers
New jewerly for dress up to go with the make up and magic mirror.
IPod cover
Jonathan ask for money so I tried to fool him by wrapping it up in several boxes to make him think he was getting a gift rather than the desired green cash.

Merry Christmas 2011
Santa is Iza's Papaw. She did not really want to sit in his lap. She is afraid of the Santa suit.
Merry Christmas!

Gingerbread Party
Christmas
Gingerbread
Party
Since Izabel did not get the big ballet birthday party she wanted (and the mommy felt soooo guilty) I decided to throw her a themed Christmas Party. I really liked the idea of a Nutcracker Ballet Christmas Party but alas I couldn't afford find all the decorations I wanted.
I had such high hopes and plans but there is always the unexpected. After menopause.....I had a period that was in it's third week and a terrible cold. I spent most of Christmas vacation not moving far from the couch. I was so tired and physically weak. Needless to say I had no energy and never even got close to all my planned ideas. The girls never had a clue all the best laid plans were never accomplished and had such fun time. Iza had 3 other toddlers and an older friend at her party. I was so thankful that all the parents stayed and helped. Anyways, here are some of the pictures from her party and decorations.
I covered the wall board in the kitchen with wrapping paper (I really want to wall paper).

I Can't Believe It!
Izabel is petting a lizard. I could not believe it when Mrs. Amanda call to tell me she was e-mailing the picture. Iza is afraid of ALL bugs, butterflies, and ladybugs - you name it. She will not even go in a room where she has seen one of the insects.

Happy 5th Birthday
For Iza's 5th birthday I took cupcakes to school and had balloons delivered with a small present. I made sure each kid had a balloon to take home. Iza was thrilled with her party. She really wanted a ballet birthday party. Maybe next year.
